Simone Mareuil was born on August 25, 1903 in Périgueux, Dordogne, France as Marie Louise Simone Vacher. She was an actress, known for Un Chien Andalou (1929), Genêt d'Espagne (1927) and Coeur de Paris (1932). She was married to Philippe Hersent. She died on October 24, 1954 in Périgueux.
