Richard Garrick

Biography

Performed on Broadway; active from 1907-47. Garrick made his stage debut in the moderately successful production of "The Boys of Company B" (in which Mack Sennett appeared in one of his 2 stage roles). He appeared in the original 1947 production of "A Streetcar Named Desire" (in the role of the "Strange Man"), directed by Elia Kazan that ran for an amazing 855 performances at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
