Matthew Borlenghi

Biography

Matthew Borlenghi first came to attention as Kelly Ripa's love on All My Children. After choosing to leave the soap, for which he was nominated for an Emmy and won a Soap Opera Digest Award, Borlenghi starred on several prime time TV shows such as Pig Sty, Party Girl, The Jeff Foxworthy Show and Police Academy: the series, as well as a pilot for a Married with Children spin-off titled Enemies, an antithesis to Friends, opposite Nicole Eggert. Borlenghi also spent several years developing TV shows with and for production companies and networks. One of his shows, a crime investigation named Postmortem in Vegas , was developed by NorthSouth Productions and A&E Networks and aired as a 1 hour special on LMN. Matthew has been appearing on hit shows lately such as Rosewood, Murder in the First and Castle and just wrapped filming a supporting role as an FBI agent leading an investigation of a hit squad in the film Branded. He has a development deal with Tent City Productions and Fremantle Media for a docu-series he created about the work of the ATF, and is developing and shopping a scripted drama series about the ATF as well.
