Francis Compton was born on May 4, 1885 in Malvern, England. He was an actor, known for Witness for the Prosecution (1957), Rage in Heaven (1941) and Williamsburg: The Story of a Patriot (1957). He was married to Mary Wetmore Wells. He died on September 17, 1964 in Norton, Connecticut, USA.
