Sport shooter Charles Andre Juchault des Jammonieres was born on April 18, 1902 in Cellier, Loire-Atlantique, France. des Jammonieres won a bronze medal in the 50 meter men's free pistol event at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, German. Moreover, Charles also participated in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol competition at the 1936 Olympics, but was eliminated in the first round. des Jammonieres went on to represent France in additional shooting events at both the 1948 and 1956 Olympics. Charles died at age 68 on August 16, 1970 in Saint-Herblain, Loire-Atlantique, France.
